After exploring various structural options for packaging, our research into the mindset of children revealed three key insights: young children tend to tear open packaging eagerly, they are unconcerned about the complexity of the structure, and they are drawn to cute and relatable designs. While we initially considered rectangular boxes, we decided to leverage these insights by incorporating perforated sheets into the packaging design. This decision enhances the unboxing experience, allowing for different opening styles based on the character or flavor of the biscuits.

Why OREO x TRANSYLVANIA?
Kids absolutely love Oreos! And Oreo as a brand targets the entire kids market directly as well as indirectly through their marketing.
When it comes to Halloween & kids, what's better than animated spooky movies and one such is Hotel Transylvania.
Hence, integrating these two together was the entire idea for this project.
Festive traditions have turned into carefully made items, like gifts, that blend seamlessly with these happy times.
Halloween is one such time of year when people indulge into all the eerie and spooky vibe. There are many options for the adults, but what is in it for kids?

WHY RECTANGLE STRUCTURE?
Halloween is a time of year when people indulge in the spooky and the supernatural, embracing the thrill of ghosts, ghouls, and all things eerie. Similarly, "Hotel Transylvania," a popular animated film series, has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide with its delightful blend of humor, adventure, and, of course, a cast of iconic monsters.
We decided to celebrate the Halloween festival by partnering with the iconic Oreo brand and creating a collaboration with the movie series Hotel Transylvania to launch limited-edition collection of themed packaging as an perfect opportunity for this unique collaboration.
This was a group project as an outcome of the module- Packaging Design at the university under the brief:
Festive traditions have turned into carefully made items, like gifts, that blend seamlessly with these happy times. At the same time, big companies introduce beautiful gift packs during the festive season to boost their sales. This assignment is about designing these gift packs, making sure they have a hidden surprise. This surprise adds an unexpected burst of happiness when the person opens the pack.
